In a war-torn landscape, a young elf named Zell is struggling to survive. Between the mortar fire, and enemy wizards ripping apart the landscape with their spells, it’s all she can do to keep her head down. But, when a mission goes awry, she is charged with bringing back the Sword of Light, a powerful weapon that can inspire courage in allies, and fear in enemies. Zell will have to cross through hostile land. Along the way, she will meet a colorful cast of characters, from humans, orcs, dwarves, and more, each with their own agenda, and a few of them with good intentions. When the sun settles on this ravaged world, what will be left besides dust and powder?
