Elliot Rowan, a hybrid with a hole in his memory joins the Meek-town College and is followed by his siblings, Zane and Alora who harass him and insist upon joining the Black Hats. A mystery girl Serena, who Elliot remembers only in his dreams and that too just her voice, shows up at the annual Meek-town College fair as a chief guest.
